Time for action.
In collaboration with Chimera 27 Gallery, artist / writer Chad Avery is throwing a party on May’s 2nd Saturday Art Walk to launch a contemporary, art-driven zine: The Bisbee Art Drop.
The Bisbee Art Drop will include wide-ranging news from the international to local, offering theories, reviews, graphics and photography, and in the process identifying trends and factors that will shape our future communities.
The Bisbee Art Drop Launch Party is a manifestation of the arts. Join us After 5, May 9th, as we attempt to mirror the Art Drop’s urgency and gather the community’s energy for new transformations. Both artists and non-artists are encouraged to attend and network. Local artists will provide texture to Chimera 27’s already full gallery with sculpture and installation, while a variety-style showcase featuring EDM DJing from Ehren Stonner of Fatigo, a performance by Indie songwriter Alex Wilkerson and solo Theremin demonstration by Kelly Owen will occur throughout the night.
Food and drink will be provided - and Issue #2 will be dropping.
